Operational Excellence at Every Stage of the Supply Chain

A Quality System Built Around Your Cargo

At Marwest LLC, quality is not a department — it is an operational discipline embedded in every process, at every office, on every shipment. Our quality management framework defines the standards for documentation accuracy, transit time performance, cargo handling, partner selection, and customer communication — and measures compliance against those standards continuously.

We believe that compliance and quality are inseparable: a compliant shipment — one that meets all regulatory, documentary, and physical standards — is by definition a quality shipment. Our systems are designed to achieve both, simultaneously, on every cargo movement we handle.

Quality Framework

The Six Pillars of Marwest Quality

Documentation Accuracy

Every document — bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, customs entry — is reviewed against a multi-point checklist before submission. Documentation errors are the #1 cause of cargo delays.

Transit Time Reliability

We track ETD and ETA for every shipment and proactively notify clients of changes. Our carrier selection criteria include schedule reliability scores — we avoid carriers with poor on-time performance.

Cargo Handling Standards

Physical cargo handling at all Marwest warehouses follows written procedures for packing, marking, and unit load preparation. Damage-sensitive cargo is handled under specific protocols by trained staff.

Partner Quality Audits

Every agent in our global partner network is subject to annual quality audit. Partners who fail to meet our service standards are placed on probation and, if unresolved, removed from the network.

Client Communication

We commit to defined response time standards — 4 hours for urgent queries, 24 hours for standard enquiries — and provide proactive status updates at every milestone without the client needing to chase.

Continuous Improvement

Monthly service quality reviews identify recurring issues, root causes, and corrective actions. Quality data drives operational changes — not just reports.

Compliance Standards

Regulatory Compliance Across All Markets

USDOT Compliance

All US freight operations comply with USDOT 970772 licence conditions, including insurance, bonding, and carrier contract requirements under 49 CFR.

US Customs (CBP)

US customs entries are prepared by our CBP-licensed brokers in full compliance with HTSUS tariff requirements, anti-dumping/countervailing duty orders, and trade sanctions.

OFAC Sanctions Screening

All shipments are screened against OFAC sanctions lists, EU restrictive measures, and UN Security Council embargo schedules before acceptance.

FMC NVOCC Compliance

All ocean freight operations comply with FMC NVOCC tariff publication and service contract requirements. We do not accept cargo outside our published tariff scope without appropriate filing.
