Unlike remote freight desks, our teams operate in-market: they know the ports, the customs officials, the carriers, and the business culture of every corridor we serve.
USA Operations
Texas Headquarters & Georgia East Coast Office
Our Texas headquarters serves as the global operations command centre for Marwest LLC. From here, we manage US customs brokerage (CBP), AMS/ISF filings, carrier booking and rate negotiation, and client account management for all North American freight.
Our Georgia office provides dedicated East Coast support, with particular strength in Port of Savannah operations — one of the USA's fastest-growing container ports, ideally positioned for Atlanta, Tennessee, and Carolina distribution.
Both US offices are staffed by licensed customs brokers, ocean freight specialists, and air cargo managers who handle the full US import and export compliance cycle.
Shandong, China Office
Factory-to-Port China Freight Management
Our Shandong office is one of the most strategically placed offices in our network. Shandong Province is home to Qingdao — one of China's busiest and most important container ports — as well as a vast manufacturing base spanning automotive parts, machinery, chemicals, textiles, and consumer goods.
Our Chinese-speaking team manages factory identification and vetting, pre-shipment quality inspection, LCL cargo consolidation, export declaration, and container booking at all major Chinese ports including Qingdao, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Ningbo.
We also facilitate USD/RMB payment settlements for African importers, bridging the critical payment gap that often prevents African buyers from accessing Chinese suppliers directly.
Namibia & South Africa Operations
Southern Africa Gateway Operations
Our Namibia office, based in Walvis Bay and Windhoek, serves as the logistics gateway for southern Africa. Walvis Bay is sub-Saharan Africa's most efficient and congestion-free deep-water port — the preferred entry point for cargo destined for Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and the DRC.
Our South Africa operations span Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg — covering all three of South Africa's major commercial and port cities. Durban is Africa's busiest container port, Cape Town is the gateway for the Western Cape and agri-export, and our Johannesburg inland depot serves the Gauteng distribution centre of southern Africa.
Both offices manage customs clearance, local delivery coordination, bonded warehousing, and cross-border trucking to landlocked southern African destinations.

West Africa's Premier Freight Hub in Lome, Togo
Lome, Togo is one of West Africa's fastest-growing port cities and a natural logistics hub for the sub-region. Its deep-water port has direct connectivity to Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Ivory Coast — making Lome the ideal gateway for West African freight operations.
Our Lome team manages customs clearance, cargo inspection, local delivery, and cross-border road freight to all ECOWAS member states. Our French-speaking team is fully versed in West African customs procedures, which vary significantly from country to country and require deep local expertise.
The Lome office is particularly important for our China-West Africa trade lane — one of the highest-growth freight corridors in the global logistics market.
